(for all of those peering into this conversation let me just start with this- Julia is one of my favorite folks I met in the last year and I totally missed her post)

Julia, of course I would love to be your plus one. I am just worried how awkward it will be for Kate and Pile (you know how sensitive Pile is). Let me know the dates, I am still waiting for our NYU cafeteria lunch.

Last night I asked if Tim wanted to be my plus one at my sister Hadley’s wedding.  I was being 100% serious when I asked, but I don’t think he was when he said yes.
